Episode 1 of The Amplified Operator is LIVE!

And there's some other goodies we can't wait to share...

We’ve had something new brewing for a while 🥁

Introducing… the Amplified Operator Podcast! Hosted by yours truly, Rachel Woods.

I’ll tell a bit more about the story that inspired starting this podcast in a future episode. But frankly, I’m too excited about our first one to share anything today other than why this is a must watch.

Episode 1: How to Drive AI Adoption in a Big Company (No Coding Required) featuring Leah Brown

Here’s the short on why it’s worth the watch…

You don’t need an unlimited Claude license to become the AI person at your company.

You probably don’t even need a new tool.

That’s the big lesson from Leah Brown, our very first guest on The Amplified Operator, a new show where I talk with real people who used AI to change their work.

Leah started her career as a biology professor. Today she’s a product manager at a large enterprise Fortune 100, and about 90% of her job is now helping teams across the company adopt AI.

Nobody posted that job. She built it.

Here’s how it started. Leadership kept saying “use AI,” but nobody said what that meant. And Leah kept hearing the same thing from coworkers: “I tried it, it didn’t work.”

So instead of asking for something new, she went through her company’s internal app directory and looked for tools that were already approved and already had AI turned on. That’s how she landed on Airtable. No six-month procurement process.

She tested it on her own projects, demoed it to her team, and built the use case that sold everyone: no more weekly project status slides. The AI now writes the update for each audience, whether that’s finance, legal or IT.

That one win snowballed. Other teams wanted in. Then a VP asked her to train their leadership team at an offsite… and the plot thickened from there.

In the episode, we get into:

  • How to find the AI you already have access to (and check if it’s actually turned on)

  • How she got her manager and team on board before asking for anything

  • Why you should “start selfish” with the work you hate doing

  • Her “Bring Receipts” playbook, which kills the meeting about the meeting

If your company says it’s “AI first” but you’re stuck with whatever IT approved, this one’s for you.

But wait… there’s more

There’s another part of this podcast that’s special.

With each guest we are hosting a behind-the-scenes conversation.

In ours, Leah gets into what nobody posts about:

  • how she spends 80% of her week on AI enablement at a company that has no AI role

  • the internal “Shark Tank” program she runs where leadership funds the best AI use cases

  • And how she’s positioning herself so when that role finally exists, the only question is “could we get Leah?”

That one is only for AMP AI Operator Bootcamp and community members. Hit reply to learn more and get the link.
